A summer wedding in Rhode Island naturally carries a feeling you can't find anywhere else. Thats why it has become a hot-spot for destination weddings among the east coast. The coastal scenery and historic arcitectural charm tells a story within itself, and when a wedding gets hosted here, it creates an absolutely unforgettable memory.
But what made Samantha and her husband Shawn's Rhode Island wedding so unforgettable wasn't just about the beautiful mansion that hosted their day. It was how alive the entire day felt.
Their wedding was warm, energetic, and had a timeless minimalistic design with cocktail hour being solely focused on guest experience. It was the kind of day where the setting simply just enhanced the energy of everyone experiencing it.
As a destination wedding videographer, these are the weddings I'm constantly drawn to. Weddings that are visually beautiful, but even better to be apart of.
Rather than creating something that just documented how the day looked, I wanted to preserve how it truly felt to be there. My approach is heavily influenced by the atmosphere. I pay attention to the little interactions between guests, the movement of a room, drinkss being poured, appetizers being passed. It's all part of the story.
These pieces may seem insignificant individually, but when stitched together, it makes a wedding feel extremely personal to the couple.
A wedding film that is full of energy doesn't have to a wild party and chaotic, it can be bright, lively, and just simply be about people who were really, really happy to be there.
If you're getting married in Rhode Island and looking for a videographer that will treasure and preserve the feeling of the weekend, I'd love to be considered as your videographer.

Hi I'm Haley! My approach to filming is unstaged with an editorial eye. I believe media on your day shouldn't feel intrusive, and should rther compliment the flow of your day.
If this is sounding like the experience you're looking for, I'd love to be your videographer!
